Our owner/manager CJ Wilson has been an equestrian since the age of 4. She went on to work with racehorses as a vet tech and assistant trainer during her 10 years at various racetracks.

Birtwick Park was founded as part of a broader plan to support Off-Track Thoroughbreds and, as a happy accident, it has become a home to horses and people of all kinds.

In addition to our boarding and layup services, we house Win Place Home, a 501(c)3 OTTB (Off-Track Thoroughbred) Rescue which CJ founded. Read more about Win Place Home here.
